About Us
Helping Hands Ministry was founded in 2003 by Mrs. De Dorman. The heart of the ministry has been to provide original gospel teaching materials to children’s workers, in Spanish and English. (Some materials are available in French and Dutch, as well.)
This ministry provides these materials, as well as adult study notes and outlines, to many countries throughout the world, without cost to the recipients. To ministries that are equipped to print their own stories, we gladly provide CD's. We thank The Lord for sending along like-minded people to stand alongside us in getting these materials into the hands of workers in the harvest, for the gospel’s sake.
We count it all joy to go and tell the good news of Jesus to areas in which The Lord directs.
Ralph and De are active members of First Baptist Church in McAllen. Texas.

1Corinthians 9:23 “And this I do for the gospel's sake, that I might be partaker thereof with you.”
2 Thessalonians 3:1 “ Finally, brethren, pray for us, that the word of the Lord may have free course, and be glorified, even as it is with you:”
Rhoda Rodriguez, Spanish translator
The stories have gone out into many Latin American countries, as well as other parts of the world. Reaching the Spanish speaking population could not have been possible without the faithful translation work of Rhoda Rodriguez. She has been with us from nearly the beginning of the ministry and is a joy to work with. Rhoda is married to Jesús and they have two children, Sami and Melec. She also serves at the Rio Grande Bible Institute, directing the daycare as well as ministering at her church by working in the children’s department. Rhoda accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior when she was 10 years old.
Veronique Ashley, French Translator
Veronique continues translating HHM materials as she cares for her family, which consists of husband William, who is a youth pastor, and their two children, working closely with Isa, in France.
Isa accepted Jesus in 1986. Translating De’s stories seems to her God’s given privilege. She works at a school in Toulouse, France and serves Jesus along with Philippe her husband and her three delightful children.
Our Doctrinal Statement
We, at Helping Hands Ministry, believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, without error in the original writings and the final authority in faith and lifestyle.
We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God who became man without ceasing to be God.
We believe that man was created in the image of God, but fell through sin, which separated him from God.
We believe that Jesus became man's substitute for the penalty of sin by His death, burial and resurrection, offering salvation to all who believe in Him, by the grace of God, through faith alone; thereby reconciling the believer back to God.
We believe the local church is an assembly of believers in Christ, whose purpose is to worship, serve, edify, evangelize and who observe the ordinances of baptism and communion.
